S04 R04 - EGT4 Sprint Cup 2021 - Kyalami

The 1st long run for AM drivers took place in South Africa on Kyalami circuit. Important race for the championship since it's double the points at stake. From the first laps, Nathaniel Foltz-Rocheleau #142 has demonstrated that the time spent in practice was paid off, he signed the pole position with a time of 1:51,177.

The start of the 60-minute race made a first victim, championship leader Miguel Dodge #201 was involved in a crash. This accident led to N. Foltz-Rocheleau to get away from the rest of his rivals and make a perfect evening signing also the best lap. Back then, we had an excellent battle between Claude Labrecque #718 and Nicolas Rabouille #696, the latter defended with brio the multiple attacks of C. Labreque. Their racecraft is worthy of excellent caliber drivers. It should be noted that despite the longest race to date for the AM drivers, it is still the race with the least penalties in the series history. Only one driver was fined for an incident in the 1st lap. Another driver who joins the famous palmarès of those who went out of gas is Mr. Arsenault #717 😉

#142, Nathaniel Foltz-Rocheleau achieved a perfect evening of racing, as the Lavallois finished on the highest step on the podium and at the same time he grabbed the championship lead with his victory. Then Anthony Baker #69 grabbed 2nd place and N. Rabouille getting his 1st podium of the season.
